Edouard Pagant

For the exhibition As pale as the living room ceiling at the House of Art of the ULB, we were asked to invest this old mansion and its exterior spaces.

This neo-renaissance bronze putti at the top of the fountain is tied in a concrete knot. By a contrast of materials and a metamorphosis of the subject, i created a dystopia in this bourgeois space. The intervention remained in place for two years before being dismantled.
